Residence Hall Library Guide
Here's a guide that will explain how you can borrow materials from and visit the Residence Hall Libraries. Hopefully, this will answer all your questions, but if you have further questions please contact Residential Life Librarian Lisa Redlinski at redlinsk@housing.uiuc.edu
The books, movies, and CDs in the Residence Hall Libraries are now searchable through the University catalog http://www.library.uiuc.edu/catalog/
- There are eight Residence Hall Libraries in all, and each is physically located in a common area of a dormitory building; here is a map with directions to the libraries.
- Anyone including family members, children can visit these libraries in person Sunday - Thursday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday and Saturday 2:00-5:00 PM. After 7:00 PM, the dormitory buildings are only available to residents; we are open until 1:00AM for residents; read our Hours of Operation page for our complete hours.
- This hand-picked collection of books, movies, and music cuts across a wide range of subjects. Please go and check it out! In person or online, at http://www.housing.uiuc.edu/living/library/
